Does this mean that we all agree that those are easily her best five records then?

Yes. Mind you I have heard 0 albums of her in full outside of those 5. (Bits and pieces of other records). So, what did I miss in between Vespertinr and this last (14 bloody years...)?

A rather nice ipad app, a cappella BDSM and that other one Volta that I still need to listen to.

I need to spend more time with this, because it probably ranks as my fourth or fifth favorite of hers.

And I'll add to the sentiment that Debut, Post, Vespertine, and Vulnicura are her best.

Track picks
1. Hunter
2. Jóga
8. Alarm Call
10. All Is Full Of Love

Yeah, it does seem to be the make it or break it moment for everyone on that album. I think it's perfect and the jarring nature of having it between moody electronic songs is perfect.

Also People think Vulnicura is up there? Dang better give it a listen.

i went back and relistened to medulla recently because a friend of mine is pretty adamant about its superiority, but i really don't like it. volta has moments, but it's pretty forgettable. biophilia is a great app, but as an album is terribly forgettable.

if you include the sugarcubes, i'd add that life's too good is stellar.

^ hell yes ^
I think the same as mostly everyone else here, when I listened to Vulnicura I thought it was her best since Vespertine. Although, I will stand by Medulla any day of the week. It really didn't come to me as enjoyable for a while, but after a good length of time the album really hits hard. But, this day is about Homogenic which was exactly what I was looking for when I first got into her. There is no bad song on this album and bless the user who claimed Pluto as a favorite. Finally, I gotta say that Bachelorette really pushes perfection and All is Full of Love is a chilling closure.
