WTF! Why someone would rate this song 100?! That's unbelievable. It is just 2 lines repeating for 1:41 sec and it has no meaning, indeed, nothing at all. Ppl on this site are crazy for Beatles, even for their worst stuff. I wouldn't rate this song more than 30/100; it is too bad to surpass 50/100.
Written by Paul after he saw two monkeys mating in the streets of Rishikesh, India. Paul was marvelled by the simplicity of nature compared to human relationships. It was one of Paul's little projects for the album, him playing all the instruments on the song, except for the drums, which are taken care of by Ringo.

It's just ever so slightly annoying to listen to make it slightly less than passable.
Not one of the better tracks on the album taken individually.

Pauls awesome Monkberry Moon Delight voice. I love it!
Wacky as hell, but it works!
The kind of song that would appear on Paul McCartney's debut solo album, it has that homemade feel. It's okay, but hardly great and would never have made it onto any other Beatles albums before this. Personally, I don't care much for it, and the White album would have been no worse off if it hadn't been included. Indulgent nonsense, to be honest.
