Time Magazine Top 100 Albums

I saw Time Magazine released their all-time top 100 albums last week only they did not assign rankings to their list. Instead, Time grouped the albums into decades of release (but this did not seem quite right as some albums banded in the 2000's were actually 'best of' compilations for much older artists.) This left me thinking, which one is the best here?

Obviously, 'the best' in music terms is mainly subjective to your own taste but I'd like to have seen some sort of ranking, which after all, is surely what these lists are all about.

Visitors to this site can use the Decade Statistics page to view the greatest albums ranked within each decade based on the number of appearances in over 40 greatest album charts (Time's chart hasn't been included on this site as the chart wasn't ranked.)

Alternatively, compile your own 'chart of charts' selecting whichever sources that you want from the Make Chart page or if none of these grab you, you can tell the world your own chart using the My Chart functionality.
