Amazing album. Track for track, this has to be the best proto-punk record of all time.

My friend introduced me to this album as "the reason all that 80's post-punk that you like exists." I don't think he's wrong. Television under Tom Verlaine showed how punk could still rock while remaining more introverted, more brainy, and less aggressive. The epic Marquee Moon, for which the album is named, is obviously a highlight, but a I like a lot of the other songs as well. Venus has a funny call and response. See No Evil is just great. I see... I see no... I see no reason to dislike this album! _________________
