Okay so the dance-off is still on... BUT... you have to dance to all of your singles and a song from each of your albums... all in the first-person witness of the panel of judges (I'll volunteer for one of the panel) and a live audience in Madison Square Garden TOMORROW EVENING. Be there.

Not sure what good a revote would do with the same teams?

It would be what this match was supposed to be, but after having corrected the factors that are constituting a new match in the first place (the misvotes, etc). Any other option seems like it would put the whole tourney on hold while we wait for this to be resolved.

Yeah watch us old gits wreck it for the rest of yers. In fact I think everyone who wasn't alive in their year of choice should be disqualified. Cos like you didn't live it maaaaan.

Can you tell I've had vodka?

Well someone voted for Nirvana, Pearl Jam and RHCP earlier on so I think that cancels out Cuba's finger slipping vote. Anyway, I'm off for a triple BLT sandwich and a nude dance-off in dubtrack.fm

You see, to decide these ties there should be a 'wise sage' panel of 5 eliminated participants who ultimately decide which way the contest goes. Or maybe give AM the casting vote, seeing as he's like BEA's version of God/Speaker Of The House Of Commons. Either him or Kiki.

I am gravely sorry , I fell asleep after the last time I checked the match and it was still tied and had to race out of bed early this morning, so obviously things got a little messy. Ill review the goings-on and see where to go from there.

Okay Im going to contact both Jim and Joy and see if they want to agree to a rematch or a similar thing we did to tie-breakers in the last playoff and post a pair of single/album choices in a new thread and we vote from there or do an open-vote or if they want to leave vote as is. I think since it's both their fate whatever they personally agree on should be the deciding factor.

Due to Saoirse's ongoing narcolepsy / lack of respect shown to refined British gentlemen JoD and I have decided to settle this like men. In other words, we're going to start a new poll up in a little while. 3 LPs, 3 singles - first to 10 votes wins. But there's a twist. See thread that should be with y'all later on once JoD's found something to better this '91 cast-off:

Narcolepsy wasn't far off, just a bad bit of food poisoning/a few fainting episodes kept me out for a couple days, but yeah no problem if the worst of the worst poll wants to be taken as the deciding factor it'z all good.
