I used to think so until I fell in love with the more mature sounds in Modern Vampires Of The City. First listen of Modern Vampires Of The City... meh... I thought the songwriting suffered, but then somehow it clicked.

This is still a fine album, but has lost its fresh feel to me over time (based on listening to it last week). Who knows all the subjective experiences, I'll laugh at this comment next week.

More like: isn't it awesome how we change and grow? It's not a complete idiot assessment... it's not like you said, dude check out this new metal band I found... haha. It has some merit to it, but yeah... it was a limited thing.

I do feel like it is a typical college radio type album... definite appeal to the college kid crowd (lyrically at least).
