Funny - I'd say it's Into the Mystic.

May the Mystics forever be mystified.

I would say it's either Beside You or Cypress Avenue. And of course I am right Laughing Laughing Laughing

my immediate thought was David Sylvian, who I like better solo than in Japan -- although Ghosts is my favorite song from either catalog.

eno and bjork are def the two obvious/overwhelmingly correct choices, as many others have said

most of my fav artists were always solo, tbh

You prefer his solo stuff? That sounds nuts to me, but tbh only ever heard one of his solo records. Wasn't swayed that way. What is his best work iyo?

It's Cypress Avenue.

So of course you are right.

Since when has your omniscient objective view of music been wrong? Laughing

Kidding aside, Cypress Avenue is a definite contender. Into the Mystic is just better cause the bass line. haha - idk it just has this deeply pensive, soulful, and sexual thing going on that just really can't be topped in my book. You know, the Bible of Omniscient Objective Views of Music?
