L.A. Woman
written by John Densmore, Robbie Krieger, Ray Manzarek & Jim Morrison
Billy Idol was kinda almost over at the dawn of the 80's. Almost. On his album Charmed Life, he played the young lust card with "Cradle Of Love", which was a sizable MTV hit. But also included was a curious cover of The Doors' classic "L.A. Woman". It weas unfortunately recored without his longtime guitarist Steve Stevens. But, in true Billy Idol fashion, it still jumps.
The Dance (feat. BeBe Winans) - Dave Koz - 1999 - This is my favorite version of the song because I love the way BeBe sings it, I love the saxophone, and I love how smooth it is.
