Why don't they just fly the aeroplane directly over Avery Island and have done with it?

Sorry guys, I haven't been around for weeks.
Genuinely don't understand that 7 for Aeroplane but oh well... Greatest "7" ever I guess? Maybe I'll write a review and send it to him and see if he changes his mind ... 10 years later.
I am glad he upgraded Avery though. Deserving...
I'll try and get around to the other questions soon (no promises)

Yeah that review felt missing the point of Aeroplane. If you could help him see the light, that'd be fun.

I figured he would either keep it at 7.5 or someday possibly upgrade to an 8 (never expected a 9 from him). I’ll consider sending him the key points about it, such as what I touched upon not too long ago in this log.
Looking forward to that “7” for the Sistine “because it’s clearly influenced by the Bible” etc 😄

Ho ho ho my fellow art nerds. I’ll try to get back on some of these things over the holiday period. No idea about Megalopolis, maybe I’ll see it on Christmas. Any thoughts from anyone? Is it really worth it? Is it more an absurd guilty pleasure top secret masterpiece that no one except Scaruffi will notice for the next 30 yrs (like Zardoz or…) or is it more one of Baz Lurhmans empty style feasts? I had high hopes for it but those aren’t looking so good based on reviews…
Any interesting updates from Scaruffi? Especially the less obvious ones like literature, painting, classical…
And oh oh oh!!! Did you hear he actually had the gall to rate Aeroplane a 7 (no I haven’t changed my own mind about it…) just poking a little fun with mentioning that of course 😆
Sorry if anyone is annoyed about my rare replies these days. I have been away without much internet access and/or super slow internet for months. Good for the soul perhaps but I do miss this stuff for sure
