So It Goes by Ratking
Okay so I don't know how much I can say about this album so far, as I'm only in the middle of my second full listen, but I really want to hear other people's thoughts on it. The production is just insane on this, in the best way possible. Kinda noisy, "frantic", but not really abrasive for the most part (at least not in the same way to Death Grips, which I guess are the only group I can even think of that would at least somewhat resemble these guys). Haven't delved that much into the lyrics so far to have a proper opinion. Snow Beach and So Sick Stories are my personal favourites.
If you have trouble finding this, it's also on grooveshark.
So yeah.. not the most comprehensive OP, but I want to keep this thing in motion. And as I said, I've been really impressed by this so far, and I want to hear other people's thoughts on it.

I listened to it yesterday, and thought it was pretty good. The King Krule feature in So Sick Stories was probably my favorite.
I don't know if there's enough to separate this from say, a Danny Brown album though.

Wow, this is super weird, I literally just listened to this album today.
I liked it overall, it was really cool. Wiki's rapping is pretty solid and the production is really impressive. It's constantly noisy, it doesn't let you get complacent with it, it'll keep you paying attention.
Favorite track is definitely "Remove Ya" _________________ 2023 Chart

Never got around to commenting here, but this record is dope. It has this strange way of feeling claustrophobic and yet cavernous, which appeals to the romanticised view of New York I've always had as this place that's so huge you could never see all of it, but also somewhat suffocating (a little like London, I guess, just with better rappers). It's also a record steeped in New York rap history, without ever feeling reverential. Like, there are stylistic nods to Wu-Tang (the haphazard nature of it, in that it sounds a little like a bunch of guys just clowning around and chatting breeze) and Gang Starr (quite astute in terms of social observation, with a dusty sound) and Tribe (that idea of two MCs feeding off of each other in order to better themselves, and the fact that they sound so comfortable in each others' presence), among many others, but it doesn't actually really sound like any of those classic New York artists. It's not one of the top tier hip-hop records I've heard this year, yet the way it manages to create such an old-school vibe with such a new-school sound is admirable, matched only by YG's My Krazy Life in that sense among 2014 rap records (my favourite album of the year, by way of contrast, really sticks to a tried-and-tested hip-hop sound, which in itself is actually pretty admirable in 2014). Wiki is obviously the standout of the two rappers, though both are strong; Wiki just has more personality, and comes up with more memorable imagery and wordplay. 'Snow Beach' might be my favourite NY rap song in fucking ages. I'm a big fan of this record, and it's been serving me well on bus journeys. Very nice pick, and easily among my favourites from this year's ALC (though I guess that was sort of inevitable, what with it being a hip-hop record). _________________ 2021 in full effect. Yeah, apologies. I think I missed when this one was posted, but I've listened to it a bit lately, and it's easily one of my favorite hip hop records of the year, and the only record I've heard this year that actually feels like the New York that I grew up loving _________________ http://jonnyleather.com

The album is good, but it felt way too samey on first listen. The production on the first few tracks is too dope.

That works! In this case, excess is great!
