I wish I'd started posting entries when I started here but oh well... I do have Stats.FM plus that tracks everything I stream on Spotify *shrug*
I'm always listening to a bunch of different artists. Whether it's new discoveries, current favorites or throwbacks.
I'd say I finished a Steely Dan, Bob Marley, CCR, The Replacements, Pavement and Husker Du sort of phase once I started learning Ukrainian.
Approximately the last year or so, I steered into international music (outside of USA and UK); more specifically from Ukraine, Russia, Brazil and Australia. But also some American and UK indie/alternative rock as well as 2 bands from my home province in Canada.
As of right now, I have a list of 10 artists that have either stuck with me or that I am discovering at this very moment:
From Quebec:
Les Cowboys Fringants (stuck with me)
From Ukraine:
Okean Elzy (stuck with me)
Boombox (stuck with me)
Zhadan I Sobaky (stuck with me)
TNMK (stuck with me)
Dymna Sumish (stuck with me)
Kozak System (discovering)
From America and the UK:
Manic Street Preachers (discovering)
Teenage Fanclub (discovering)
Built to Spill (discovering) _________________ ✌⚜

Finally got into 2000s Radiohead and Arcade Fire a little bit.
I can now also add canadian band The Weakerthans to my list, and scottish band Teenage Fanclub.
Still listening to a lot of Okean Elzy and Boombox. The latter which I saw live this year, and I'll be attending the Okean Elzy concert in October. Pretty stoked.
Listening to a lot of Nujabes at the moment. I can't believe it took me this long. This also turned me to J Dilla's Donuts again, and this time, it didn't fail to disappoint. Some albums just do that... they take a while and some understanding to hit the spot properly.
Ukrainian music still has most of my attention. Bands like Skryabin, Tartak, Mad Heads and Motor'Rolla for example.
TNMK released a new album this year, BATPA Black. It was enjoyable. Plus a new single by CunninLynguists (Forever) which was alright. _________________ ✌⚜
