It's alright. The Flaming Lips really haven't done very much for me.

Wow. This is a top 10 of all time quality album. The Flaming Lips have an amazing discography, and here they are at the peak of their talent.

Cat Stevens plagiarism and eye-rolling lyrics on Do You Realize?? aside, this is one of my favorite albums ever.

My favourite flaming lips.
It's funky, it's fun, it's meaningful, it's sad, really it's everything you would want from an album, with great story telling elements and lush instrumentation.

As someone who feels "The Soft Bulletin" is almost laughably undeserving if all the love it gets, I've had a strange fascination with this album. I've never listened to it. I'm afraid ill be as disappointed by this as the previous "classic" of theirs. I will listen to it soon though. I needs to.
I like what I've heard of "Clouds Taste metallic" way more than "The soft bulletin". Ill check that out as well. _________________ -Ryan

Pretty sure lethalnezzle isn't into this direction the Flaming Lips took.
At least I know he hates At War With The Mystics.
