There are 64 first-round matchups, so in order to get things moving I am going to be adding EIGHT matchups per two days - four from each half of the Tournament (the rate will slow down later in the Tournament, this is just to get things kicked off as there are so many nominations).

If this is my nomination, he's spelled "MC Einar". And if it is, would you mind not letting him battle against Jaz-Z in the first round? The matchups are all totally at random. There are artists I'd like to see progress that clearly won't, I guess that's the trouble when you have 128 nominations - you're picking from a much wider pool and the margins of talent, popularity, etc. are huge. I'm sorry it happened to be Einar vs. Jay-Z, but if I change matchups it takes away my ability to remain unbiased and detached from the process. Sorry, hope it doesn't deter you from voting.

I also respect that you won't change matchups, even though I will be a little embarrassed when Jay-Z wins with such a large amount that he probably will do.
