I find this album very inconsistent, but it's certainly worth talking about just for having the brilliant "Bell Bottom Blues" _________________ http://jonnyleather.com

Not a bad blues-rock affair, but I feel it doesn't excite me or anything.

One of the most accurately titled albums of all time. You have Bell Bottom Blues, a whole bunch of junk, and then the magnificent, brilliant, Layla. A failure as a double album, might have been much better if 'Derek' had edited it down to two sides instead of four.
Layla, the song, is amazing though.

Wooh I just listened to this earlier today.
The first 5 or 6 tracks are absolutely fantastic, and then aside from "Layla" the rest is meh. _________________ 51 Washington, D.C. albums!

Aww man I think this was in my top 10 when I first joined BEA! It's gone down a lot since then, but I still love it. I'l have to revisit this soon. I have to be in the mood for crying though, because "Bell Bottom Blues" will make it happen. _________________

I've always liked the album. It's never been anything too special to me, naturally I love "Layla" and "Bell Bottom Blues", and honestly, the cover of "Little Wing" is pretty good too. It's an enjoyable album for sure. _________________ 2023 Chart
