Love this one, quirky blues rock that appeals to my inner weirdo. The songs are catchy and The Cap's got a great unique vocal style, what's not to like. _________________ surprise I have a chart -> X

Dope. Not really on the same plane of existence as Trout Mask Replica, but what is, really?

Trout Mask Replica is the most fun music that isn't pop. <3
I quite enjoy Electricity off this one, couldn't get into the rest as much, still a good album. Lick My Decals Off, Baby and Doc at the Radar Station are two overlooked Beefheart records.

I don't know. I guess I just don't really see the appeal. |
Right but I'm sure we can all agree it's fairly unique.

Absolutely. I think it's just beyond me. When I am in the mood I can listen to, say, half of it and be like "shiiiiiit! This is soooo tight! So brilliant and wild!" but I usually end up turning it off by like track 20 of 28. I've probably managed to listen to the entire record at once 3 times. And
I have just come to the conclusion I will eventually come back to it and find it to be just everything I've been looking for in music. Until then, I'd say it is between "very good" and "I fucking hate it" depending on my mood.
"Safe Ad Milk" however is a favorite RIGHT NOW! _________________ -Ryan
