Outliers can be removed when calculating a mean average to dampen the effects of ratings outside the normal distribution. This figure is provided as the trimmed mean. Swervedriver always struck me as a second tier shoegaze band. Future Ruins is the kind of boring, "it's listenable" album that you might expect from a just decent band decades past their prime.
Nothing too original here. Everything is loud but doesn't seem to have a direction. Just feel it's been done before and better by others.

Looking forward to this based on the singles. EDIT: This is a decent release. Will probably sit somewhere in the middle of my year end chart when its said. First half was a 7.5 for me but the second half lost me a little. I would give this a 7.25 overall
