Rating metrics:
Outliers can be removed when calculating a mean average to dampen the effects of ratings outside the normal distribution. This figure is provided as the trimmed mean. A high standard deviation can be legitimate, but can sometimes indicate 'gaming' is occurring. Consider a simplified example* of an item receiving ratings of 100, 50, & 0. The mean average rating would be 50. However, ratings of 55, 50 & 45 could also result in the same average. The second average might be more trusted because there is more consensus around a particular rating (a lower deviation).
(*In practice, some albums can have several thousand ratings)
This album is rated in the top 1% of all albums on BestEverAlbums.com. This album has a Bayesian average rating of 80.8/100, a mean average of 80.0/100, and a trimmed mean (excluding outliers) of 81.1/100. The standard deviation for this album is 16.3.

Long Tall Sally showed us that Paul has a knack for a real rock n' roll voice. Elvis put Little Richard's rock n' roll edge to shame, but Paul rocked it well.
Mostly this is a fun check stuff out for the first time if you haven't heard it, but probably not a record I'll come back to for another 5 to 10 years (I remember hearing this in the late 90s and find the Anthology releases more interesting).
I think it'd be more interesting if it were condensed of things not on albums... take out alternate takes of well known singles also on albums.
Beatles claim to have first feedback recorded on I Feel Fine according to their Anthology book.
Imagine if The Beatles continued to record German versions of their popular songs. For example, "Ich bin das Walroß."
A good compilation of early material.
Good collection of non-album early singles.
The first collection of singles contains those classic early singles as well as some, um, interesting German versions...
The German tracks crack me up...
