Rating metrics:
Outliers can be removed when calculating a mean average to dampen the effects of ratings outside the normal distribution. This figure is provided as the trimmed mean. A high standard deviation can be legitimate, but can sometimes indicate 'gaming' is occurring. Consider a simplified example* of an item receiving ratings of 100, 50, & 0. The mean average rating would be 50. However, ratings of 55, 50 & 45 could also result in the same average. The second average might be more trusted because there is more consensus around a particular rating (a lower deviation).
(*In practice, some albums can have several thousand ratings)
This album has a Bayesian average rating of 71.4/100, a mean average of 71.3/100, and a trimmed mean (excluding outliers) of 71.3/100. The standard deviation for this album is 20.8.

A memorable alb um filled with bangers. I think that this album belongs to the staple of albums that will be played forever,
This is totally packed with hit songs on sides A and B. For Canada, Bryan Adams is up there with the most iconic rock acts, and this is his prime release. If you're a fan of 80's radio rock, this is an anthemic must-have.

The Canadian Rocker's absolute BEST!
Best album of 80 s
80s pop rock at its best. I’ve heard this hundreds of times but still reach for it. Some level of inebriation is recommended to achieve best results.
Yes, the album has an eighties feel and I loved the eighties and love that much of what was great about the eighties is back in vogue!
Excellent album that really rocks!
Love 'Run to You' and 'Summer of 69' but there are other hidden treasures within.
My sister had this way back in 84 and I liked the singles and album at the time. I never listened to it again until I got it in 2016 and the tunes came back thick and strong. There might be emotional points tied up in this but I think that the songs stand up well like Summer Of 69, Run To You and Heaven amongst others whilst the track She's Only Happy When She's Dancin' is only disappointment I can find here
Ok so the nostalgia might be affecting my rating - this is what my parents played 10000 times while I was growing up, but the feel good rock anthems on this project truly have stood the test of time. "Heaven", "Kids Wanna Rock", "Summer of 69"... the list goes on. It is really rare that an album has so many songs that several generations can recite from memory. Definitely a very special album, although not the most "complex"
9/10
