Rating metrics:
Outliers can be removed when calculating a mean average to dampen the effects of ratings outside the normal distribution. This figure is provided as the trimmed mean. A high standard deviation can be legitimate, but can sometimes indicate 'gaming' is occurring. Consider a simplified example* of an item receiving ratings of 100, 50, & 0. The mean average rating would be 50. However, ratings of 55, 50 & 45 could also result in the same average. The second average might be more trusted because there is more consensus around a particular rating (a lower deviation).
(*In practice, some albums can have several thousand ratings)
This album has a Bayesian average rating of 66.9/100, a mean average of 63.9/100, and a trimmed mean (excluding outliers) of 63.9/100. The standard deviation for this album is 19.2.

80 to 90/100 (Visceral, emotional, brutal, dirty, anguished, detailed, atmospheric, etc, screamo/screamoviolence/smewhat black and sludgey metal album that manages to scratch every itch in 26 minutes. It's really cool, mah friends.)
This album is a tight, 26-minute blast of hateful screamo with some really great Black and Sludge Metal moments that keep the album moving along in a vicious, dirty, even beautifully sinister way. I love it, if I'm being honest.
The vocals are incredible. The whole band is on point here, but the vocalist in particular has mastered that gnarly black metal-y screaming pain. And when he belts on this thing I feel both elated and angry.
The production is great as well. Its clean enough to make parts of this album somewhat accessivle and epic. For example on the title track, the guitars and drums and (later) the bass are these lively things and they create an atmosphere of epic dread for the vocals to enter and thrash around in.
This is what I like to hear from this kind of intense and horrifying music. Its equal parts face-pummeling and artfully constructed with moments of build ups and variety that makes the whole face-smashing thing all the more excellent.
Don't have much else to say. This is great. Check it out if ya wanna.
