What a complete and utter joy this album turned out to be. Celebrating their 40th anniversary at Melbournes St.Kilda Festival just before the world went into lock down in 2020 this album captures Iva Davies and co tight and crisp and reminding those of us old enough to remember what a great album that first Flowers album was
The covers inclusion was a massive surprise and right on point with cracking interpretations of “The Jean Geni”, ‘Get It On’ and The Pistols “Pretty Vacant”
Then closing on the iconic “Great Southern Land” to bring the journey full circle ... pure genius
Simply awesome from top to bottom
