Dick and Tommy Smothers (aka The Smothers Brothers) were always an unusual symbol of the 60s counter-culture. The fellows were allegedly an act of folk singing musicians, but their comedic squabbles were front and center to their performances. Rhino Records captured their best here on this 1988 release (Cat#: R2 75235) featuring the gems that spoke to a generation of young Americans and perhaps helped chnage the world. It should be noted that as a side note Tommy Smothers appeared with John Lennon and Yoko Ono in their bed-in for peace and was featured singing on "Give Peace A Chance". Authenticated on discogs.com
