Rating metrics:
Outliers can be removed when calculating a mean average to dampen the effects of ratings outside the normal distribution. This figure is provided as the trimmed mean. A high standard deviation can be legitimate, but can sometimes indicate 'gaming' is occurring. Consider a simplified example* of an item receiving ratings of 100, 50, & 0. The mean average rating would be 50. However, ratings of 55, 50 & 45 could also result in the same average. The second average might be more trusted because there is more consensus around a particular rating (a lower deviation).
(*In practice, some albums can have several thousand ratings)
This album is rated in the top 23% of all albums on BestEverAlbums.com. This album has a Bayesian average rating of 73.8/100, a mean average of 72.3/100, and a trimmed mean (excluding outliers) of 74.1/100. The standard deviation for this album is 13.6.

Suco da Motown!!

I recommend this album as the good outweighs the bad, especially for those already into Wonder's work. It's very important in terms of Stevie's musical map moving forward and songs like Sugar and You Can't Judge a Book By It's Cover pleasantly caught me by surprise as very memorable having not heard them previous to listening to this record as a whole.
SS&D's A Side is pretty consistently the best work of his career up to this point, and while Side B isn't terrible, I feel it's much less consistent and creatively exploratory, the record is VERY top heavy. Perhaps even produced that way on purpose. He also overuses a lot of the same boisterous shouts/yells/vocal frys here. Some instances work in getting his honest and untethered energy across, but it becomes tiresome by the end of the album, I'm glad he more or less ditched it before his prime years.

A good Stevie Wonder album the first 4 tracks and Gotta Have A Song are by far the best tracks here, the remainder are ok but not as good as what was to come, this was his last album under his old Motown contract after this he was given full reign on his albums.

Really underrated album by Stevie Wonder. It's beautifully joyfull and fresh
