Rating metrics:
Outliers can be removed when calculating a mean average to dampen the effects of ratings outside the normal distribution. This figure is provided as the trimmed mean. A high standard deviation can be legitimate, but can sometimes indicate 'gaming' is occurring. Consider a simplified example* of an item receiving ratings of 100, 50, & 0. The mean average rating would be 50. However, ratings of 55, 50 & 45 could also result in the same average. The second average might be more trusted because there is more consensus around a particular rating (a lower deviation).
(*In practice, some albums can have several thousand ratings)
This album has a Bayesian average rating of 73.0/100, a mean average of 71.6/100, and a trimmed mean (excluding outliers) of 73.0/100. The standard deviation for this album is 15.8.

It sucks.
Not as many lights-out singles on this compared to their other albums, but overall their most consistent (that I've listened to so far). My highlights are Statues and The Pretender.
Not the best album, but possibly the most cohesive. There was clearly a vision, and every song flows into the next.
Loved this album. One of the best from the Foo's. Rating (83.75)
They're actually trying to make something worth listening to this time, but I think it's clear Kurt was the only actual punk in Nirvana. They sound like one of those bands in the '80s that dangled between thrash metal and "classic" rock... Faith No More basically without funk, or Jane's Addiction without prog.
This record is driven by the opening track. Furthermore, the Foo Fighters find here the combination of the acoustic and electric side of the music that could be heard on In Your Honor. The songs on the piano are fine, but fall away a bit in the whole. In overall a good album with a few interesting moments.
Just another good Foo Fighters album.
