Rating metrics:
Outliers can be removed when calculating a mean average to dampen the effects of ratings outside the normal distribution. This figure is provided as the trimmed mean. A high standard deviation can be legitimate, but can sometimes indicate 'gaming' is occurring. Consider a simplified example* of an item receiving ratings of 100, 50, & 0. The mean average rating would be 50. However, ratings of 55, 50 & 45 could also result in the same average. The second average might be more trusted because there is more consensus around a particular rating (a lower deviation).
(*In practice, some albums can have several thousand ratings)
This album is rated in the top 22% of all albums on BestEverAlbums.com. This album has a Bayesian average rating of 74.0/100, a mean average of 72.8/100, and a trimmed mean (excluding outliers) of 74.1/100. The standard deviation for this album is 17.1.

Can be a bit tedious to listen to, but I will always crank up my car's volume when "Dancing Through Sunday" or "Girl's Not Grey" comes up.
Really solid all the way through, all the songs compliment each other brilliantly. Nice variety as well.
I particularly like the bombast of "Miseria Cantare"
My favorite of the last decade. OK, it might not be the best, but for me is so personal. And objectively, is a very good album, which deserves much more attention than it gets.
This is one of my favourite albums. I can get completely lost in it. My favourites are "The Great Disappointment" and "...But Home is Nowhere."
"Synesthesia" and "Now The World" whilst good tracks, for me, don't really fit in the album. They are more like the songs that play in the credits once the movie has finished.
Terrific album, not a bad song on it and even the bonus tracks are phenomenal.
"Now The World" & "Synesthesia" are not included on the U.S. release. It's too bad because both are great tracks.
I still can't get enough of "Death of Seasons". One of my favorite tracks of the 00's.
