Rating metrics: Outliers can be removed when calculating a mean average to dampen the effects of ratings outside the normal distribution. This figure is provided as the trimmed mean. A high standard deviation can be legitimate, but can sometimes indicate 'gaming' is occurring. Consider a simplified example* of an item receiving ratings of 100, 50, & 0. The mean average rating would be 50. However, ratings of 55, 50 & 45 could also result in the same average. The second average might be more trusted because there is more consensus around a particular rating (a lower deviation).
(*In practice, some albums can have several thousand ratings)

This album has a Bayesian average rating of 72.2/100, a mean average of 70.1/100, and a trimmed mean (excluding outliers) of 72.1/100. The standard deviation for this album is 15.5.

Excellent psychedelic album, particularly like the instrumentation. 'Magic Hollow' is a personal favourite. The blue vinyl compliments the sleeve.

Yes, not such a nice dream, but a sweet dream still. A dandy among the San Francisco Hippies, still believing in figuration while all the others seem to get more and more abstract. But then, aren't these the strangest of songs? Their efect matches the 20 minutes free form explorations of the other Bay Area bands. Is it a trip? No, it's beauty.

A truly annoying album that deserves the relative obscurity it has earned, despite the pleadings of a few delusional music critics. Sal Valentino's vocals combine the nasal tone of Dylan with the irritating vibrato of Tiny Tim for a rather brutal 1-2 punch to the nerves. The music isn't completely awful and the songs do eventually seem less annoying as the album progresses. Still, not worth spending any remaining minutes of my life pondering.
