A really good hip hop record. Some really good tracks on here. But not my favorite Gang Starr album. It feels like they were going for a more hardcore sound than their previous records which makes sense being released in 94. Some of the tracks I find skippable. That being said, Mass Appeal, Blowin' Up the Spot and Suckas Need Bodyguards is the strongest string of songs on this record for me and Code of the Streets is a great track.
