This is just a beautiful David Gray album, cold and stark and meticulous with great piano melodies and quick-hitting lyrics. The glacier on the front is a perhaps representation of the mood of the album.
A return to form after the disappointment of, new day at midnight. Some fine songwriting here on, hospital food, the Springsteen-ish, the one I love, and the beautiful, nos da cariad. An underrated record.
