Che splendida sorpresa è stato questo Ryley Walker ! "Primrose Green" dalla copertina ricorda "His band and the street choir" di Van Morrison, ma poi ascoltando il disco il riferimento principale, quasi unico anzi, è un altro: John Martyn.
Love Ryley Walker. Reminds me of one of my all time great musical heroes, John Martyn

Good music - maybe Van Morrison?!
I would say more like Tim Buckley. sure some Van Morrison and a little bit Jethro Tull in between.
Fantastic folk-jazz fusion. Elements of Van Morrison, Nick Drake, and a tinge of more American oriented folk. Walker's voice is sharp and clear, cutting through the loose arrangements as the one clear indicator of melody and structure.
Just a fascinating listen.
