The first three albums are all A+ albums. The next one maybe a B+. Then it kind of trailed off from there.

I can't understand the turn of fortunes for this amazing collection of talent - starting with the Butler brothers. They had a series of chart topping hits, innovative soundscapes, and moody radio-friendly songs - then they just collapsed. How quickly public opinion turns. Despite the changing course, The PF are still one of my favorite bands of the era.

Years ago this band was at the top of all kinds of polls, but has a poor reputation today for what followed after their first 3 great albums.Talk Talk Talk was easily the best guitar rock album of the decade. At one time everybody knew this.
