Outliers can be removed when calculating a mean average to dampen the effects of ratings outside the normal distribution. This figure is provided as the trimmed mean. Always loved Porcupine Tree so continue to look out for Steven Wilson projects. Blackfield are the most consistent of these. Really can't say a bad thing about any of the albums. All very good.

All the Porcupine Tree and Steven Wilson fans who haven't charted these are missing out on more melodic perfectness.
The genius that is Steven Wilson continues. This is a really good band who have delivered 3 really classic albums. Hard to choose which is best - all really solid.
