Thank your lucky stars and Beach House for giving two of the year's most beautiful albums. To compare, this one might be slightly more experimental than "Depression Cherry", like the surprisingly minimalist "All Your Yeahs", but not much.

Pretty much nothing like what a honeymoon should be. Even more than her previous album, Lana Del Rey aims for a mystic, atmospheric set of songs that isn't exactly cheery! Not quite as melodic as she can be, but solid nonetheless.

Mathilde Falch tries with a darker and more atmospheric approach. In the middle, however, you find her most party-minded track to date, "Ild i Min Røg" (or in English, "Fire in My Smoke"... weird title)!

The kind of autumnal sort of classical somewhat ambient film score-like music that always pleases the ears when you're in a sufficiently melancholic mood!

This album is all about that bass, no treble (nobody saw that pun coming). Very bubblegummy and not that crazily deep, but it's got nice retro vibes and is generally a positive listen. Heck, I even tried to dislike it, especially because of the persistent chorus of "All About That Bass", but something this inoffensive could only offend me for a while before it eventually won me over!
