What the 'rappers' these days wish they sounded like. except these fools had talent. the bizzy, krayzie, and layzie are severly under rated mc's in my opinion. the most under rated album of all time, in any genre ever. [First added to this chart: 12/27/2010]

Truely original, KRS-One is at his best when he's trying to make an art, rather than be a true 'gangsta rapper'. this album was the true originator of the hip-hip/reggae/punk fusion that Sublime would later perfect. [First added to this chart: 12/27/2010]

Rating metrics: Outliers can be removed when calculating a mean average to dampen the effects of ratings outside the normal distribution. This figure is provided as the trimmed mean. A high standard deviation can be legitimate, but can sometimes indicate 'gaming' is occurring. Consider a simplified example* of an item receiving ratings of 100, 50, & 0. The mean average rating would be 50. However, ratings of 55, 50 & 45 could also result in the same average. The second average might be more trusted because there is more consensus around a particular rating (a lower deviation).
(*In practice, some charts can have several thousand ratings)

This chart has a Bayesian average rating of 84.1/100, a mean average of 82.7/100, and a trimmed mean (excluding outliers) of 82.7/100. The standard deviation for this chart is 13.5.

This chart NEEDS Lamar's good kid, M.A.A.D. City. Apart from that, it's pretty good. I really like most of your choices, and I have to agree with you number one pick.
