Top 50 Greatest Music Albums by fellow
These are the records I've listened to the most, in order. I guess you could say that my basic criteria is if I would want to listen to that record again. It's all very personal.

Rating metrics:
Outliers can be removed when calculating a mean average to dampen the effects of ratings outside the normal distribution. This figure is provided as the trimmed mean. A high standard deviation can be legitimate, but can sometimes indicate 'gaming' is occurring. Consider a simplified example* of an item receiving ratings of 100, 50, & 0. The mean average rating would be 50. However, ratings of 55, 50 & 45 could also result in the same average. The second average might be more trusted because there is more consensus around a particular rating (a lower deviation).
(*In practice, some charts can have several thousand ratings)
This chart has a Bayesian average rating of 77.8/100, a mean average of 75.3/100, and a trimmed mean (excluding outliers) of 73.8/100. The standard deviation for this chart is 21.7.

I can't give this chart an honest rating because I don't get the point of it. It's just a statistical list, it's got no soul, no reasoning. You have some interesting things on your chart it would be nice to see your opinion of what you think the greatest albums are.
Lately I've been hesitant to give honest ratings to charts that I do not like. There seems to be a bug going around that causes people to retaliate by countering low ratings with low ratings, just for the sake of revenge. That is why I feel the need to explain myself here. It would be dishonest of me to rate this chart higher. Having said that, only an interesting person could produce this chart, and I respect the originality very much - it just doesn't suit me.
Best ever chart i saw
MAJOR props for putting Evanescence on here, these guys get too much crap. They made some sick stuff
Very cool list, to be honest, I haven't heard some of these albums, but I really respect how you have your own taste
How are the first two terrible? Ignore what Sean said. This list is great. So personalized, and clearly you don't give a poop what people think of it. Your taste is your taste. Bravo.
Guess who doesn't know what they're talking about? Here's a hint, he rhymes with hobbit.
Tekin please read the intro, at least the first sentence. And yes it is the best ever albums, candidly and truthfully.
SHAME ON YOU! UR FIRST TWO ARE TERRIBLE!
Wow. It is like a random sampling of my local charity shops. That is not a criticism. Your chart is just so varied in styles and genres. I like it. I don't like all of your chart, but like those charity shops there are some wonderful records tucked away in it, if you can only be bothered to look.
