Rating metrics: Outliers can be removed when calculating a mean average to dampen the effects of ratings outside the normal distribution. This figure is provided as the trimmed mean. A high standard deviation can be legitimate, but can sometimes indicate 'gaming' is occurring. Consider a simplified example* of an item receiving ratings of 100, 50, & 0. The mean average rating would be 50. However, ratings of 55, 50 & 45 could also result in the same average. The second average might be more trusted because there is more consensus around a particular rating (a lower deviation).
(*In practice, some charts can have several thousand ratings)

This chart has a Bayesian average rating of 81.5/100, a mean average of 79.2/100, and a trimmed mean (excluding outliers) of 79.3/100. The standard deviation for this chart is 11.8.

Radiohead and Pink Floyd are my ultimate favorite bands! I also love Arcade Fire :) I recommend you might like listening to Tame Impala, specially their first two albuns. The only thing I would change in this chart is the On An Island album. I respect a lot Mr. Gilmour, but from it I only like the song 'Take a Breath'.

But you have an excellent taste of music! ;)

What's wrong with Clare Torry's vocals? I thought they were an excellent addition to the album. Also, despite my love for Pink Floyd, 11 albums is a bit much for chart with less than 40.

I'm with defago on this. Never thought I'd say that word in sentence. Why no love for Great Gig In The Sky? Her voice is beautiful and that was done all in one take which makes it even more incredible.

But I digress. Cool chart. I'm a Floyd fan too, but I have a lot of their music still to listen to. Much love for Radiohead & The Beatles as well which I like. Not as diverse as other charts I've seen, but no worries.

Great chart! Only complaints are MJ and the comment about the vocals on the Great Gig - I'm in love with that track.

Great chart! Glad someone else likes Piper and On an Island. MJ was the only bad thing about this chart for me, though. I find him so overrated and annoying! Also, as a side note, why does Obscured by Clouds say its the most underrated Radiohead Album?
