There's one word to describe Muse: dramatic. And I wouldn't have it any other way. Muse has released a number of great albums, but this will always go down as there magnum opus. Each track is song with such passion, that you can't help, but feel Matthew Bellamy's pain. The end of the world has never sounded so good.

Finally, an album by an established act. And what established band is better than Radiohead? Hail To The Thief is the best of both worlds as it mixes Radiohead's old, harder sound, with their new and more electric sound.

While I think "White Blood Cells" is the far superior album, this one is also great. The first half of the album simply doesn't do it for me, but the second half rocks out in a way that only Jack and Meg know how.

What an awesome decade the Shins had. If you did not care for "Oh, Inverted World" you had to at least like this album. Not as raw as their debut. A lot more beautiful in my opinion.
