Terrifyingly awesome. The instrumental section is beautiful including a great Hetfield solo. A legendary metal song, maybe the most legendary.

The ultimate song about drug addiction. Apparently it was written about Dave Mustaine whom they had kicked out of Metallica for drug and alcohol abuse to the extent that it was affecting his work in the band. The first solo is still probably my favorite sound of music ever.
