Rating metrics:
Outliers can be removed when calculating a mean average to dampen the effects of ratings outside the normal distribution. This figure is provided as the trimmed mean. A high standard deviation can be legitimate, but can sometimes indicate 'gaming' is occurring. Consider a simplified example* of an item receiving ratings of 100, 50, & 0. The mean average rating would be 50. However, ratings of 55, 50 & 45 could also result in the same average. The second average might be more trusted because there is more consensus around a particular rating (a lower deviation).
(*In practice, some tracks can have several thousand ratings)
This track is rated in the top 2% of all tracks on BestEverAlbums.com. This track has a Bayesian average rating of 84.5/100, a mean average of 83.5/100, and a trimmed mean (excluding outliers) of 84.7/100. The standard deviation for this track is 13.1.

When I listen to this song I think of a modern day Us And Them. It seriously is that good.
The awful sound starts coming down at about 3:45. It's awful, and scary
Starts a bit slow, but damn that chorus is amazing
Thankful for this song. was getting bored with the album until this kicked in. I kinda agree with ilovelctr, for 1:30+ this sounds like just another boring arcade fire song hehe... then it picks up. I'm not even sure if it needs that 60s sounding upbeat ending, or if I like it... i love the production and the tension in the slower part
Where? Where? Where is the Awful Sound, very good song, this is the best song from Reflektor
I love this song and it's on par with It's Never Over for me, and both could be the most spectacular tracks on the album. But the starting verse of this song is pretty weak, to the point that the later part of the song all becomes a hell of surprise! Ever since the chorus (I know there's a way) starts, the song gets strong, and the bigger chorus (Na na na...) is even grander, with the soft bridge (We know there's a price to pay) being a ultimately harmonized vocal feast.
Fantastic song, one of my favs.
