The Eternal is a break-up album, you can find lyrics referring to it everywhere. Massage the History was Kim's last goodbye, and this one is Thurston's. Although Thurston apparently thought SY would go on, this is clearly him venting his frustration about Kim, and saying bye to their marriage.
