Rating metrics:
Outliers can be removed when calculating a mean average to dampen the effects of ratings outside the normal distribution. This figure is provided as the trimmed mean. A high standard deviation can be legitimate, but can sometimes indicate 'gaming' is occurring. Consider a simplified example* of an item receiving ratings of 100, 50, & 0. The mean average rating would be 50. However, ratings of 55, 50 & 45 could also result in the same average. The second average might be more trusted because there is more consensus around a particular rating (a lower deviation).
(*In practice, some tracks can have several thousand ratings)
This track is rated in the top 1% of all tracks on BestEverAlbums.com. This track has a Bayesian average rating of 88.7/100, a mean average of 88.0/100, and a trimmed mean (excluding outliers) of 89.3/100. The standard deviation for this track is 12.3.

The album's best known track and a big hit in the UK. A lovely reflective ballad, beautifully sung.
Utterly devastating song. When this came on in Climax (2018), my jaw crashed through the floor. One of those tunes that makes you love this damn band even more.
One of the best songs about addiction ever, up there with master of puppets and heroin.
Rolling Stones purists were appalled that the preceding single from their new album was a ballad. For all it's commercial appeal though it still retains a level of grit and credibility, although the lyrics have never made much sense to me, and Mick Jagger singing Andy instead of Angie on some verses also confuses me. Anyway, it's a good track, although personally, not a massive favourite of mine.
One of the best ballads the Stones ever did.
