btw, I would still love to see charts sorted by "new" and "updated" Wink

I don't know if it's difficult to implement, but I'm pretty sure it will improve the site readability, especially with custom charts arriving.

Hi CellarDoor, you can already do that. Go to the charts page, click on 'Date updated' or 'Date added' (next to 'Sort by' in the 'Customise view' panel at the top of the screen), and the list of charts will be ordered in that sequence. You can also filter by any chart type from this screen (this functionality was based on your idea the other month).

I'm sorry, I didn't realize that. Embarassed

I still don't find it easy to navigate through all the daily charts though.
Maybe I just need to use the functionality a little more first.

If I understand, by clicking on "date added" or "date updated" it ranks the same charts but in "new" or "updated" order ? The display isn't easy to understand...

Because when I logged in, there were "24 new or updated charts". I clicked on them and tried sorting them out, but I have 8 pages to browse either way and I don't know where the cut off between new and updated is.

Oh dear, this doesn't sound very clear... "cartoken face"

I often have a problem when moving on to the second page where the custom search settings that I set get cancelled (specifially when selecting "Sort by: Date Added" or "Sort by: Date Updated").

Yeah, I get this too.

No worries, I'll rename the sort options to make them more obvious e.g. 'new charts first' (date added), 'updated charts first' (date updated)

My turn to go red Embarassed The sort order seems to forget itself when you go to page 2 and beyond. I'll fix that as well. I could add the create date (as well as the updated date) to the chart details so you could see a bit easier when the cross-over point is reached.

(I've split this into a new thread as it was a bit off-topic, and it will be easier to track here.)

It would be neat there's an option to search more than just 3 charts per page in "The Charts" IMO. Like make it something adjustable in "customise view".

No worries. I'll increase the number of charts per page, and further down the line make it so you can choose a page size.
