My all time favorite album from my all time favorite band.

The greatest album to almost go diamond in America IMO. I love all of RHCP’s stuff (excluding their first three underground albums), but they just never topped this album. This album is perfect track to track from top to bottom.

If You Have To Ask & Sir Psycho Sexy are underrated af... Also Rick Rubin added a lot with his production, I particularly love some production choices in Suck My Kiss, like the breaking of the guitar pattern on the "is she talking dirty" and "Is she gonna curtsy" parts. Obviously Under The Bridge is one of their all time greatest songs (if not the greatest). This is one of my favorite records to listen while I do excercise, so energetic, so creative, so immersive, so good. In my opinion their best record. Strictly talking about ability, the RHCP are one of the strongest bands out there, and this was their Peak.
