The Athens team is pretty strong (try Pylon if you never have, they were great. Vic Chesnutt can move me to tears, the B-52s are good fun, I'm not so keen on Of Montreal, but they have they're moments.

On a side note, I've always found Toronto to be a criminally underrated city. I love it. Something happening all the time, and so multicultural. So much music. I don't like it when Canadians from all over get a hate on for the 'centre of the universe'. That said, I'm not really a fan of the sprawl beyond the city centre.
I also really like Vancouver, Montreal, Halifax, and I suppose Calgary...
