@Necharsian: Tubular Bells will have to be petitioned as it is labeled as 'progressive rock.' I've never heard the album, so I can't give you any of the two votes you'll need. If you don't want to petition it, feel free to edit your post with a different choice |
Well. It could be considered Krautrock I guess....But I've only heard it once, and it isn't an electronic album at all. _________________ Submit Your List for BEA's 2023 Film Poll!

I too would vote against Tubular Bells. A very good album indeed, but there isn't anything electronic about it. Most of it is recorded on piano, organ, bass and guitar (and tubular bells).

I blame albummaster for putting Tubular Bells in his list of ones that should be in this
Would "The Songs of Distant Earth" by Mike Oldfield be alright? It says New Age/Space music. Although you didn't specifiy those in your original post, I think they are electronically centered. (How embarrasing would that be if I got denied twice...)

I'm really liking the lineup for this competition, seeing a lot of albums I was considering entering myself. My two are:
Crystal Castles - Crystal Castles I
Radiohead - Hail to the Thief
(in case we decide Hail to the Thief isn't electronic, then I'm swapping it for Ratatat - Classics) _________________ A dick that's bigger than the sun.

You have Kid A in your top 20, that would pass for Electronic...(Not trying to push yo into anything...DO IT!)

Songs of Distant Earth is in my top 10. But fine. My other album will probably not make it very far, and giving into peer pressure is one of my favorite activities. So Kid A it is!
