There are two Plastic Ono Band albums under Lennon: one is "John Lennon/Plastic Ono Band" and the other is "Plastic Ono Band."

I prefer the US version of The Clash-The Clash because the UK has one less track and doesn't include two of The Clash's top singles-(White Man) In Hammersmith Palais & Complete Control. Nevertheless, BestEverAlbums should recognize that album only once (many members are not familiar with the differences) because by listing them separately each album gets an overall lower rank. Combine the stats as one album-think of it as a different version, not a different album. _________________ Top 100 Greatest Music Albums by RFNAPLES

This issue started because somebody specifically added The Clash (US version) to their list (but the UK release was the original version).
This topic has been discussed on the forum and it seems most people think that the US release is better than the original. (Personally, I think we should use the original release.)

I agree, the album should not be listed twice, but not sure the best way of dealing with this at the momet.

I agree, the album should not be listed twice, but not sure the best way of dealing with this at the momet. | would we list the two versions of Rubber soul as different albums? the thing with the clash was when it finally got released in America we (the dumb americans) knew it was a different release as many of us had bought the brit import to begin with. For that reason I say keep them as two releases. Do both versions appear on anybodys chart? For me personally it's a moot point as I only have one album per artist on my chart and the clash's spot is taken by London Calling. _________________ To each his reach but if I don't cop it ain't mine to have - George Clinton

I prefer the USA version but don't care which we list. We shouldn't list both because it throws off the album statistics. We don't list multiple versions of most other albums either. Can you imagine listing each deluxe or import as a separate album? Or listing each variation depending upon the track listing, extra tracks, bonus tracks, dvd, etc.? _________________ Top 100 Greatest Music Albums by RFNAPLES

There are 3 versions on the site and there were only 2 albums, Use Your Illusion I & Use Your Illusion II. I think the 'Use Your Illusion' listing should be removed, it was never released as a single set
