I love Pink Flag and all, but this is more cohesive and a lot more focused. My favourite of Wire's original run of albums.

Ace LP. Prefer the longer version of Outdoor Miner truth be told (with the little piano break in it), but Too Late is my marmalade.

Personally, I don't feel like Pink Flag comes close to the genius of Chairs Missing or even 154

As the man in charge of 1978 in the year tourney, let this be a warning of what you're up against

Definitely agree with this, 154 is the best of those three. Though Chairs Missing is also a fantastic album!

I totally cycle through all three. All three are amazing, and there have been periods where I'm completely confident each one of these three is the best and then it changes. What I'm saying is that it's a moving target. Right now I'm in my Pink Flag phase.
