BEA Best Album: If You're Feeling Sinister (1996) - ranked #170
A comment from the members of BEA: on If You're Feeling Sinister "I discovered the band with this album, and they immediately became big favorites of mine. Subtle, highly melodic, cleverly articulate music, mixing humour with melancholy, like a more acoustic-orientated Saint Etienne (another act I'm very fond of)." davidhuret (02/2012)

BEA Best Album: You're A Woman, I'm A Machine (2004) - ranked #767
A comment from the members of BEA: on You're A Woman, I'm A Machine "This is an incredible album... The distortion of the bass is so harsh that the entire album seems to be an effort of creating art from a harsh and technological world. Worth a listen for something different and special. I feel like I should like Belle & Sebastian way more than I do. The first two songs I heard by them were Expectations and Piazza NY catcher (via Juno), and I adore(d) both of them. Yet I was a bit disappointed with If you're feeling sinister. Not a huge fan of some other songs I heard by them either.
Jack, when you sober up, post some vids from Fucked Up and Death from Above.
