This is an underrated QOTSA album, at least in relation to their other albums (didn't realize, nor would I have expected, that this is in our top 1000). I love the atmosphere this album brings - the dark, gothic sound is in stark contrast to both the album before this and after it. And while the last few songs drag on way longer than they need to, Tangled Up In Plaid and I Never Came are top 5 QOTSA songs, and Someone's in the Wolf isn't far behind. _________________ And it's hard to be a human being. I like how the first half is really quite poppy and punchy and quick, then as it goes on, the second half becomes this long, slow, drawn out, beautiful mess. _________________

Pending on my mood, I either think, huh, cool... or this is their worst album ever. Still not sure. Jury is still out.
