Rating metrics:
Outliers can be removed when calculating a mean average to dampen the effects of ratings outside the normal distribution. This figure is provided as the trimmed mean. A high standard deviation can be legitimate, but can sometimes indicate 'gaming' is occurring. Consider a simplified example* of an item receiving ratings of 100, 50, & 0. The mean average rating would be 50. However, ratings of 55, 50 & 45 could also result in the same average. The second average might be more trusted because there is more consensus around a particular rating (a lower deviation).
(*In practice, some albums can have several thousand ratings)
This album is rated in the top 3% of all albums on BestEverAlbums.com. This album has a Bayesian average rating of 77.3/100, a mean average of 77.2/100, and a trimmed mean (excluding outliers) of 77.6/100. The standard deviation for this album is 14.4.

Good but not as good as Ocean's other albums. This album is very atmospheric and has a nice vibe to it. Definitely worth listening to, might grow on me more but doubt it'll ever surpass blonde or channel orange.
Got apple music several weeks ago, and it hit me that I could listen to this. Kinda had a oh shit moment when I realize that. Now I am having a oh shit this is brilliant moment. Haven't really came back to Blonde that often. Excellent album. But with only being on my Iphone, I kinda forget about this. What I said about Blonde applies to this. But I think I might listen to this more. So we will see.
Now at the end of my second listen, and I could say this is masterful. Really love it. While both Blonde and Endless keep this ambient funk high, I will say Endless is better. Congrats Frank.
Hopefully someday we'll get a high quality audio version of this but until then the current sounds gives it a strangely personal feel to it.
This is a great album. It's overshadowed by Blond and it's a bit of a shame. Frank Ocean fans appreciate it's greatness but it would be better with the "WITH YOUR APPLE DEVICE"
This album will never get the attention it deserves, which is kind of a shame. Being released immediately before Blonde, mostly everyone just skipped right over this one.
I'm not saying that this album is as good as or better than Blonde or Channel Orange, but it's definitely an interesting listen. This album is like ASMR to me. Beautifully produced, and has a lot of interesting songs. Shoutout to Alex G for some solid guitar work on Slide On Me.
Highlights- At Your Best (You Are Love), Alabama, U-N-I-T-Y, Slide On Me, Sideways, Rushes, Rushes To
It's not really and album it's more of an experience
Maybe not as good as Blonde or Channel Orange, but this album is really fresh. A new experience for me, worth a listen.
Underrated. Two days after "Endless" was released, "Blonde" came out and the world circled around that brilliant album, disregarding "Endless" completely. However, even though it could be his weakest album, this may well be his most interesting piece of work out of his whole career. It veers from ambient interludes to James Blake style electro-soul to FKA twigs/Arca to even a dose of Kraftwerk right at the end, but the lyricism is insightful and heartbreaking as always.
Even divorced of its accompanying visuals, "Endless" is experimental and beautiful. "At Your Best (You Are Love)" is easily one of his best and most gorgeous tracks, and I hope there'll be a reappraisal of this album pretty soon which should hopefully get the public to speak more about it.
