Rating metrics: Outliers can be removed when calculating a mean average to dampen the effects of ratings outside the normal distribution. This figure is provided as the trimmed mean. A high standard deviation can be legitimate, but can sometimes indicate 'gaming' is occurring. Consider a simplified example* of an item receiving ratings of 100, 50, & 0. The mean average rating would be 50. However, ratings of 55, 50 & 45 could also result in the same average. The second average might be more trusted because there is more consensus around a particular rating (a lower deviation).
(*In practice, some albums can have several thousand ratings)

This album is rated in the top 6% of all albums on BestEverAlbums.com. This album has a Bayesian average rating of 76.0/100, a mean average of 75.6/100, and a trimmed mean (excluding outliers) of 76.3/100. The standard deviation for this album is 15.3.

Isn't this an EP? Have to dig my copy out, been years since I played it. I remember A Sort of Homecoming was the standout track.

OK, so a few hours later, I have dug out my vinyl and dropped the needle, it play at 33rpm which I had forgotten so it is a short album, not an EP. I also forgot what a great track Bad is!

It was "Bad" at Live Aid that really turned me on to U2, so imagine how happy I was that my older sister, a U2 fan, had this casette. And as someone who thinks The Unforgettable Fire is their best work, I really enjoy the two b-sides here.

I actually don't like this version of Bad, based only on the loop track... I find it annoying... the jam near the end of it pretty cool though. I actually like the dorkyness of three sunrises as well.

The live songs are great; The Three Sunrises is just really mediocre though.

Short but this version of 'Bad' is superior to Unforgettable fire

The b-sides are forgettable but the live stuff is just incredible.
