Rating metrics:
Outliers can be removed when calculating a mean average to dampen the effects of ratings outside the normal distribution. This figure is provided as the trimmed mean. A high standard deviation can be legitimate, but can sometimes indicate 'gaming' is occurring. Consider a simplified example* of an item receiving ratings of 100, 50, & 0. The mean average rating would be 50. However, ratings of 55, 50 & 45 could also result in the same average. The second average might be more trusted because there is more consensus around a particular rating (a lower deviation).
(*In practice, some albums can have several thousand ratings)
This album has a Bayesian average rating of 73.3/100, a mean average of 71.7/100, and a trimmed mean (excluding outliers) of 73.4/100. The standard deviation for this album is 19.8.

Some folk complain about the screaming. But it’s Beatlemania!! The phenomenon of the century. An exhilarating listen. History in the making. And oh those songs !!! Wonderful.
I'm sure this would be a good live album. The Beatles, within this album are basically just trying to emulate the studio recording of the songs played, which they do very well. This means that it lacks the charm of a changed lyric, an unheard intro or an alternative solo slightly. As well as this, the screaming is constant and unbearable. It does well to captulate the hysteria at the time, however, it is not a particularly enjoyable listen.
I remember the day I heard this first on Radio Luxemburg. (I taped it. Which helps). And the DJ (forgot his name) said: "The most magnificent and influential group of all time: The Beatles live at the Hollywood Bowl". Great and sad at the same time. The hysteria is unbelievable.
An album that's more significant for the time it was recorded at rather than musically enjoyable. The screaming is relentless, but it beautifully captures the time when Beatlemania was at it's crazy peak.
